‘Grand confort’ armchair

A kaki tubular metal structure supporting by 4 legs; the armchair with 4 leather dark cushions.

This larger model of ‘grand confort’ armchair was first designed for the Villa Church salon de musique in 1927-28. The same model was later exhibited at the 1929 Salon d’Automne for ‘Un équipement intérieur d’une habitation’.

H. 23.6 x L. 39.3 x D. 25.6 in.

Provenance:

– European private collection. Purchased in the late 1990s-early 2000s then by
descents.
