‘Tronco’ seats

Structures composed of large wooden logs assembled at an angle, forming a U-shaped base and backrest. Wide original white leather is studded to the front and back to create a soft, comfortable, deckchair-like seat.

Signed “Zanine” on the front crossbar.

H. 33.86 × W. 31.89 × D. 38.98 in

Created in the 1970s, the “Tronco” line was designed in Bahia, the artist’s native region.
