This bench was designed by Luis Barragan for the « albardonero » (the main room by the horse stables) as part of his Project « Cuadra San Cristobal », one of Barragan’s master pieces in the late 1960s, Folke Egerström, who was a good friend of Luis Barragan commissioned him to do this project for him and his family. The estate has remained in the family since then.
